Hindi Meaning
"ज्ञान कहने (समझाने) में कठिन, समझने में कठिन और साधने में भी कठिन है। यदि घुणाक्षर न्याय से (संयोगवश) कदाचित् यह ज्ञान हो भी जाए, तो फिर (उसे बचाए रखने में) अनेकों विघ्न हैं॥118ख॥"
English Meaning
"…The path of knowledge is difficult to describe, difficult to comprehend, and difficult to attain, even through earnest effort. And even if success comes by rare fortune, like a wood-boring worm that by chance engraves the name “Shri Ram” upon wood, an occurrence made possible only by the Lord’s grace, still many obstacles arise in preserving that wisdom…"
