"अनुपम बावलियाँ, तालाब और मनोहर तथा विशाल कुएँ शोभा दे रहे हैं, जिनकी सुंदर (रत्नों की) सीढ़ियाँ और निर्मल जल देखकर देवता और मुनि तक मोहित हो जाते हैं। (तालाबों में) अनेक रंगों के कमल खिल रहे हैं, अनेकों पक्षी कूज रहे हैं और भौंरे गुंजार कर रहे हैं। (परम) रमणीय बगीचे कोयल आदि पक्षियों की (सुंदर बोली से) मानो राह चलने वालों को बुला रहे हैं।"

"Beautiful step-wells, ponds, and large, charming wells appeared splendid in every way. Their elegant flights of steps and serene, crystal-clear waters captivated the hearts of Demigods and Sages alike. The ponds were adorned with lotuses of many colours, while countless birds cooed sweetly and bumblebees hummed softly. The gardens were exceedingly delightful to wander through, with cuckoos and other birds filling the air with melodious calls, as though inviting all who passed by."
