"इंद्रियों के द्वार हृदय रूपी घर के अनेकों झरोखे हैं। वहाँ-वहाँ (प्रत्येक झरोखे पर) देवता थाना किए (अड्डा जमाकर) बैठे हैं। ज्यों ही वे विषय रूपी हवा को आते देखते हैं, त्यों ही हठपूर्वक किवाड़ खोल देते हैं॥6॥"
