"शूद्र नाना प्रकार के जप, तप और व्रत करते हैं तथा ऊँचे आसन (व्यास गद्दी) पर बैठकर पुराण कहते हैं। सब मनुष्य मनमाना आचरण करते हैं। अपार अनीति का वर्णन नहीं किया जा सकता॥5॥"
