कवन जोनि जनमेउँ जहँ नाहीं। मैं खगेस भ्रमि भ्रमि जग माहीं॥4॥

Hindi Meaning
"अनेकों जन्मों में मैंने अनेकों प्रकार के योग, जप, तप, यज्ञ और दान आदि कर्म किए। हे गरुड़जी! जगत् में ऐसी कौन योनि है, जिसमें मैंने (बार-बार) घूम-फिरकर जन्म न लिया हो॥4॥"
English Meaning
"…In my countless births, I practised yoga, chanting, and austere penance, performed sacrifices, gave charity, and engaged in many other disciplines. There is no species in the Universe in which I have not taken birth while wandering again and again from one body to another, O’ King of Birds…"
