ए सब सखा सुनहु मुनि मेरे। भए समर सागर कहँ बेरे॥
मम हित लागि जन्म इन्ह हारे। भरतहु ते मोहि अधिक पिआरे॥4॥

Hindi Meaning
"(फिर गुरुजी से कहा-) हे मुनि! सुनिए। ये सब मेरे सखा हैं। ये संग्राम रूपी समुद्र में मेरे लिए बेड़े (जहाज) के समान हुए। मेरे हित के लिए इन्होंने अपने जन्म तक हार दिए (अपने प्राणों तक को होम दिया) ये मुझे भरत से भी अधिक प्रिय हैं॥4॥"
English Meaning
"Shri Ram then introduced His friends to His Guru and said, “Kindly listen, O’ Sage, these are my friends who became the vessel through which I crossed the ocean of battle. They risked their lives for my cause and are dearer to me than even Bharat.”"
