मुधा भेद जद्यपि कृत माया। बिनु हरि जाइ न कोटि उपाया॥4॥

Hindi Meaning
"जीव परतंत्र है, भगवान् स्वतंत्र हैं, जीव अनेक हैं, श्री पति भगवान् एक हैं। यद्यपि माया का किया हुआ यह भेद असत् है तथापि वह भगवान् के भजन बिना करोड़ों उपाय करने पर भी नहीं जा सकता॥4॥"
English Meaning
"…The living being remains subject to the control of Maya, while the Lord alone is fully independent. Though there are countless beings, there is only One Supreme Lord, the beloved of Shri Lakshmi. Even though this distinction created by Maya is, in truth, an illusion, it cannot be removed by countless remedies; it fades away only through the grace of Lord Hari…"
