"सुहागिनी स्त्रियाँ तो आभूषणों से रहित होती हैं, पर विधवाओं के नित्य नए श्रृंगार होते हैं। शिष्य और गुरु में बहरे और अंधे का सा हिसाब होता है। एक (शिष्य) गुरु के उपदेश को सुनता नहीं, एक (गुरु) देखता नहीं (उसे ज्ञानदृष्टि) प्राप्त नहीं है)॥3॥"
