"यह पवित्र कथा भगवान् के परम पद को देने वाली है। इसके सुनने से अविचल भक्ति प्राप्त होती है। हे उमा! मैंने वह सब सुंदर कथा कही जो काकभुशुण्डिजी ने गरुड़जी को सुनाई थी॥3॥"
