Hindi Meaning
"माया की प्रेरणा से काल, कर्म, स्वभाव और गुण से घिरा हुआ (इनके वश में हुआ) यह सदा भटकता रहता है। बिना ही कारण स्नेह करने वाले ईश्वर कभी विरले ही दया करके इसे मनुष्य का शरीर देते हैं॥3॥"
English Meaning
"…Driven by Maya, the Lord’s illusory energy, and bound by time, karma, the modes of nature: goodness, passion, and ignorance, along with their various qualities, the living entity wanders endlessly through the cycles of birth and death. Out of pure compassion, the Lord, who loves the living being and is free from all self-interest, sometimes mercifully and selectively bestows a human body upon the living being…"
