Hindi Meaning
"भाँति-भाँति के (बंधनकारक) कर्म, गुण, काल और स्वभाव- ये चकोर हैं, जो (रामप्रताप रूपी सूर्य के प्रकाश में) कभी सुख नहीं पाते। मत्सर (डाह), मान, मोह और मद रूपी जो चोर हैं, उनका हुनर (कला) भी किसी ओर नहीं चल पाता॥3॥"
English Meaning
"…Multitudes of activities, qualities, time, and nature, symbolised by chakor birds, found no delight. The thieves, embodied as envy, ego, attachment, and false pride, found no opportunity anywhere to display their craft…"
