जहँ तहँ देखहिं निज परिछाहीं। बहु बिधि कूजहिं नृत्य कराहीं॥3॥

Hindi Meaning
"मोर, हंस, सारस और कबूतर घरों के ऊपर बड़ी ही शोभा पाते हैं। वे पक्षी (मणियों की दीवारों में और छत में) जहाँ-तहाँ अपनी परछाईं देखकर (वहाँ दूसरे पक्षी समझकर) बहुत प्रकार से मधुर बोली बोलते और नृत्य करते हैं॥3॥"
English Meaning
"Peacocks, swans, cranes, and pigeons adorned the rooftops of the homes. Whenever these birds beheld their own reflections in the jewels and gems set into the walls and roofs, they sang sweetly and danced in many graceful ways."
