"जो कपट छोड़कर यह कथा गाते हैं, वे मनुष्य अपनी मनःकामना की सिद्धि पा लेते हैं, जो इसे कहते-सुनते और अनुमोदन (प्रशंसा) करते हैं, वे संसार रूपी समुद्र को गो के खुर से बने हुए गड्ढे की भाँति पार कर जाते हैं॥3॥"

"…Those who recite this sacred narrative with a heart free from deceit see all their worthy desires fulfilled. Whether a person recites it, listens to it, or even holds it in loving esteem, that person crosses the vast ocean of worldly existence with ease, as effortlessly as stepping across the shallow imprint of a cow’s hoof.”"
