Hindi Meaning
"तेली, कुम्हार, चाण्डाल, भील, कोल और कलवार आदि जो वर्ण में नीचे हैं, स्त्री के मरने पर अथवा घर की संपत्ति नष्ट हो जाने पर सिर मुँड़ाकर संन्यासी हो जाते हैं॥3॥"
English Meaning
"…Men from the lowest strata of society, such as oil merchants, potters, dog-meat eaters, hunters, tribal folk, and distillers of alcohol, would shave their heads and enter the order of renunciation only after their wives had passed away or they had lost all their household possessions…"
