"सारी गलियाँ सुगंधित द्रवों से सिंचाई गईं। गजमुक्ताओं से रचकर बहुत सी चौकें पुराई गईं। अनेकों प्रकार के सुंदर मंगल साज सजाए गए और हर्षपूर्वक नगर में बहुत से डंके बजने लगे॥2॥"
English Meaning
"All the alleys were sprinkled with perfumes and fragrant water, and many courtyards were adorned with rare pearls that come from elephants’ foreheads. Beautiful and auspicious objects were displayed everywhere, while a multitude of kettledrums resounded together in joyous celebration."
