Hindi Meaning
"मैं धन के मद से मतवाला, बहुत ही बकवादी और उग्रबुद्धि वाला था, मेरे हृदय में बड़ा भारी दंभ था। यद्यपि मैं श्री रघुनाथजी की राजधानी में रहता था, तथापि मैंने उस समय उसकी महिमा कुछ भी नहीं जानी॥2॥"
English Meaning
"…I was proud of my wealth and excessively talkative, with a fiery temperament and a sharp, aggressive nature. My heart was steeped in false pride. Though I lived in the very capital of Shri Raghupati, I remained utterly unaware of even the slightest measure of its glory…"
