"(दिव्य) स्वर्ण और रत्नों से बनी हुई अटारियाँ हैं। उनमें (मणि-रत्नों की) अनेक रंगों की सुंदर ढली हुई फर्शें हैं। नगर के चारों ओर अत्यंत सुंदर परकोटा बना है, जिस पर सुंदर रंग-बिरंगे कँगूरे बने हैं॥2॥"

"The city was adorned with beautiful terraces fashioned of pure 24-carat gold and precious jewels, and charming courtyards whose floors were inlaid with gems of many colours. A magnificent boundary wall with lofty parapets enclosed the city on all sides, and the fort was crowned with bastions painted in a variety of hues."
