Hindi Meaning
"प्राणियों को जलाने वाले ये पापी (रोग) जान लिए जाने से कुछ क्षीण अवश्य हो जाते हैं, परंतु नाश को नहीं प्राप्त होते। विषय रूप कुपथ्य पाकर ये मुनियों के हृदय में भी अंकुरित हो उठते हैं, तब बेचारे साधारण मनुष्य तो क्या चीज हैं॥2॥"
English Meaning
"…When recognized, these harmful tendencies that cause suffering may weaken, yet they are not completely destroyed. Fed by attachment to worldly pleasures, they can sprout even in the hearts of Sages; what, then, can be said of an ordinary person?…"
