"सब रोगों की जड़ मोह (अज्ञान) है। उन व्याधियों से फिर और बहुत से शूल उत्पन्न होते हैं। काम वात है, लोभ अपार (बढ़ा हुआ) कफ है और क्रोध पित्त है जो सदा छाती जलाता रहता है॥15॥"

Desire is likened to a disorder born of disturbed inner wind; greed to diseases of the Earth and water elements, marked by heaviness and excess mucus; and anger to the imbalance of fire and water, producing burning agitation, like heartburn and acidity within the body…"
