Hindi Meaning
"(शिवजी कहते हैं-) हे गिरिजे! सुनो, मैंने यह उज्ज्वल कथा, जैसी मेरी बुद्धि थी, वैसी पूरी कह डाली। श्री रामजी के चरित्र सौ करोड़ (अथवा) अपार हैं। श्रुति और शारदा भी उनका वर्णन नहीं कर सकते॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Lord Shiv said to Goddess Parvati, “O’ Girija, listen, I have narrated this sacred account of Lord Ram’s deeds to you to the best of my understanding. Lord Ram’s exploits are countless, far beyond hundreds of millions. Even the Vedas and Goddess Saraswati are unable to fully recount them all…"
