"(काकभुशुण्डिजी कहते हैं-) हे पक्षीराज गरुड़जी! जब से रामप्रताप रूपी अत्यंत प्रचण्ड सूर्य उदित हुआ, तब से तीनों लोकों में पूर्ण प्रकाश भर गया है। इससे बहुतों को सुख और बहुतों के मन में शोक हुआ॥1॥"
