"भावार्थ:-प्राणों की आधार रूप अवधि का एक ही दिन शेष रह गया। यह सोचते ही भरतजी के मन में अपार दुःख हुआ। क्या कारण हुआ कि नाथ नहीं आए? प्रभु ने कुटिल जानकर मुझे कहीं भुला तो नहीं दिया?॥1॥"

"…Only one day remained of Shri Ram’s exile in the form of life-sustaining term for Shri Bharat. As Bharat ji understood this, his mind was filled with immeasurable sorrow. He wondered what cause there could be that his Lord had not come, and feared that the Lord, knowing him to be deceitful, might have forgotten him."
