Hindi Meaning
"जो भक्ति की ऐसी महिमा जानकर भी उसे छोड़ देते हैं और केवल ज्ञान के लिए श्रम (साधन) करते हैं, वे मूर्ख घर पर खड़ी हुई कामधेनु को छोड़कर दूध के लिए मदार के पेड़ को खोजते फिरते हैं॥1॥"
English Meaning
"…Those who abandon such worship and strive only for spiritual knowledge are like fools who forsake the wish-fulfilling celestial cow within their own home, and wander in search of the milk of the wild aka plant…"
