"दिशाओं के हाथी चिंग्घाड़ने लगे, पृथ्वी डोलने लगी, पर्वत चंचल हो गए (काँपने लगे) और समुद्र खलबला उठे। गंधर्व, देवता, मुनि, नाग, किन्नर सब के सब मन में हर्षित हुए’ कि (अब) हमारे दुःख टल गए। अनेकों करोड़ भयानक वानर योद्धा कटकटा रहे हैं और करोड़ों ही दौड़ रहे हैं। ‘प्रबल प्रताप कोसलनाथ श्री रामचंद्रजी की जय हो’ ऐसा पुकारते हुए वे उनके गुणसमूहों को गा रहे हैं॥1॥"

"The elephants from all ten directions that uphold the Cosmos trumpeted mightily; the Earth quaked, mountains trembled, and the ocean surged with great force. All the celestial beings, the Gandharvas, Kinnars, Demigods, Sages, and Serpents, rejoiced within their hearts, knowing their long suffering would now soon end when Lord Ram and His army vanquish the demons. The valiant monkey warriors let out piercing cries as countless ranks surged forward, chanting and singing of Lord Ram’s countless virtues: “Victory to the mighty and all-powerful, glorious Shri Ram, the Lord of the Koshal Kingdom!”"
