Hindi Meaning
"मगर, साँप तथा मछलियों के समूह व्याकुल हो गए। जब समुद्र ने जीवों को जलते जाना, तब सोने के थाल में अनेक मणियों (रत्नों) को भरकर अभिमान छोड़कर वह ब्राह्मण के रूप में आया॥4॥"
English Meaning
"The hosts of alligators, serpents, and fish grew frantic with distress. Seeing the creatures being scorched by the flames, the ocean cast aside its pride and, taking the form of a Brahmin, approached Shri Ram, carrying a golden tray adorned with precious jewels and gems."
