Hindi Meaning
"(जान पड़ता है) यह मूर्ख हमारा भेद लेने आया है, इसलिए मुझे तो यही अच्छा लगता है कि इसे बाँध रखा जाए। (श्री रामजी ने कहा-) हे मित्र! तुमने नीति तो अच्छी विचारी, परंतु मेरा प्रण तो है शरणागत के भय को हर लेना!॥4॥"
English Meaning
"…It seems likely that this wretch has arrived to spy on us. I would be content if he were captured and kept in custody.” Shri Ram replied, “You have given wise advice regarding the rules of politics, but I have taken a pledge to alleviate the fear of those who surrender to me.”"
