Hindi Meaning
"(शिवजी कहते हैं-) हे उमा! संत की यही बड़ाई (महिमा) है कि वे बुराई करने पर भी (बुराई करने वाले की) भलाई ही करते हैं। (विभीषणजी ने कहा-) आप मेरे पिता के समान हैं, मुझे मारा सो तो अच्छा ही किया, परंतु हे नाथ! आपका भला श्री रामजी को भजने में ही है॥4॥"
English Meaning
"Lord Shiv said to Goddess Parvati, “Uma, this is the supreme virtue of a saintly person, even when harmed, they respond only with goodness.” Vibhishan then said, “You are like a father to me; it does not matter that you have struck me. But, dear brother, your well-being lies only in the worship of Shri Ram.”"
