"हे वीर वानरराज सुग्रीव और लंकापति विभीषण! सुनो, इस गहरे समुद्र को किस प्रकार पार किया जाए? अनेक जाति के मगर, साँप और मछलियों से भरा हुआ यह अत्यंत अथाह समुद्र पार करने में सब प्रकार से कठिन है॥3॥"

"…Listen, O’ Chief of the Monkeys and O’ King of Lanka, how shall we cross this unfathomable ocean, brimming with countless crocodiles, serpents, and fish? The ocean is vast, deep, and exceedingly difficult to cross in every way.”"
