Hindi Meaning
"माल्यवान् नाम का एक बहुत ही बुद्धिमान मंत्री था। उसने उन (विभीषण) के वचन सुनकर बहुत सुख माना (और कहा-) हे तात! आपके छोटे भाई नीति विभूषण (नीति को भूषण रूप में धारण करने वाले अर्थात् नीतिमान्) हैं। विभीषण जो कुछ कह रहे हैं उसे हृदय में धारण कर लीजिए॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Malyavan, Ravan’s elderly and wise minister, was greatly pleased by Vibhishan’s words. Turning to Ravan, he said, “My son, your younger brother is truly a gem among the wise. Therefore, I urge you to accept Vibhishan’s counsel and keep his words close to your heart.”"
