"भावार्थ : शंख और चंद्रमा की सी कांति के अत्यंत सुंदर शरीर वाले, व्याघ्रचर्म के वस्त्र वाले, काल के समान (अथवा काले रंग के) भयानक सर्पों का भूषण धारण करने वाले, गंगा और चंद्रमा के प्रेमी, काशीपति, कलियुग के पाप समूह का नाश करने वाले, कल्याण के कल्पवृक्ष, गुणों के निधान और कामदेव को भस्म करने वाले, पार्वती पति वन्दनीय श्री शंकरजी को मैं नमस्कार करता हूँ॥2॥"
