Hindi Meaning
"भावार्थ : कानों से सबके वचन सुनकर (रावण का पुत्र) प्रहस्त हाथ जोड़कर कहने लगा- हे प्रभु! नीति के विरुद्ध कुछ भी नहीं करना चाहिए, मन्त्रियों में बहुत ही थोड़ी बुद्धि है॥8॥"
English Meaning
"After hearing the words of the Ministers, Ravan’s son, Prahast, spoke with folded hands, “My Lord, I beseech you not to act against the path of righteousness, for the counsel of these Ministers is shallow and lacks true wisdom…"
