"वे राक्षसों के गाल पकड़कर फाड़ डालते हैं, छाती चीर डालते हैं और उनकी अँतड़ियाँ निकालकर गले में डाल लेते हैं। वे वानर ऐसे दिख पड़ते हैं मानो प्रह्लाद के स्वामी श्री नृसिंह भगवान्‌ अनेकों शरीर धारण करके युद्ध के मैदान में क्रीड़ा कर रहे हों। पकड़ो, मारो, काटो, पछाड़ो आदि घोर शब्द आकाश और पृथ्वी में भर (छा) गए हैं। श्री रामचंद्रजी की जय हो, जो सचमुच तृण से वज्र और वज्र से तृण कर देते हैं (निर्बल को सबल और सबल को निर्बल कर देते हैं)॥2॥"
