Hindi Meaning
"युद्ध में शत्रु के विरुद्ध श्री रघुनाथजी क्रोधित हुए, तब तरकस में बाण कसमसाने लगे (बाहर निकलने को आतुर होने लगे)। उनके धनुष का अत्यंत प्रचण्ड शब्द (टंकार) सुनकर मनुष्यभक्षी सब राक्षस वातग्रस्त हो गए (अत्यंत भयभीत हो गए)। मंदोदरी का हृदय काँप उठा, समुद्र, कच्छप, पृथ्वी और पर्वत डर गए। दिशाओं के हाथी पृथ्वी को दाँतों से पकड़कर चिग्घाड़ने लगे। यह कौतुक देखकर देवता हँसे।"
English Meaning
"When Lord Ram’s righteous anger arose against His enemy on the battlefield, the arrows in His quiver stirred with restless excitement, eager to be released. As Shri Ram twanged His bow, the dreadful sound struck terror into the man-eating demons, leaving them stunned and breathless. Mandodari’s heart shook with fear, as did the mighty Tortoise on whose back the Cosmos rests, along with the ocean, the Earth, and the mountains. The elephants supporting the ten directions trumpeted loudly, gripping the Earth with their tusks, while the Demigods watching from the skies laughed."
