"मुण्ड (कटे सिर) जय-जय बोल बोलते हैं और प्रचण्ड रुण्ड (धड़) बिना सिर के दौड़ते हैं। पक्षी खोपड़ियों में उलझ-उलझकर परस्पर लड़े मरते हैं, उत्तम योद्धा दूसरे योद्धाओं को ढहा रहे हैं। श्री रामचंद्रजी बल से दर्पित हुए वानर राक्षसों के झुंडों को मसले डालते हैं। श्री रामजी के बाण समूहों से मरे हुए योद्धा लड़ाई के मैदान में सो रहे हैं।"

"The heads cried out, “Victory, victory,” while the terrified headless bodies ran wildly across the battlefield, and birds became entangled in the scattered skulls as they fought among themselves, while brave warriors overpowered their rivals, and the monkeys, boasting of the might of Lord Ram, crushed great hosts of demon troops, leaving countless warriors struck by the volleys of Shri Ram’s arrows lying lifeless upon the field."
