"हे रघुकुल के स्वामी! सुंदर हाथों में श्रेष्ठ धनुष और सुंदर बाण धारण किए हुए आप मेरी रक्षा कीजिए। आप महामोहरूपी मेघसमूह के (उड़ाने के) लिए प्रचंड पवन हैं, संशयरूपी वन के (भस्म करने के) लिए अग्नि हैं और देवताओं को आनंद देने वाले हैं॥1॥"
