Hindi Meaning
"रण के मद में मत्त राक्षस कुंभकर्ण इस प्रकार गर्वित हुआ, मानो विधाता ने उसको सारा विश्व अर्पण कर दिया हो और उसे वह ग्रास कर जाएगा। सब योद्धा भाग खड़े हुए, वे लौटाए भी नहीं लौटते। आँखों से उन्हें सूझ नहीं पड़ता और पुकारने से सुनते नहीं!॥3॥"
English Meaning
"The demon, inflamed by the thrill of battle, felt as though God Himself had offered him the entire world to devour. The brave warriors turned and fled, refusing to return to the fight even when commanded, for their eyes no longer dared to look back and their ears no longer heeded any call."
