कुंभकरण युद्ध और भगवान राम के हाथों उसकी परमगति – Kumbhkaran joins the battle and attains liberation at the hands of Lord Ram

"सुग्रीव की भी मूर्च्छा दूर हुई, तब वे (मुर्दे से होकर) खिसक गए (काँख से नीचे गिर पड़े)। कुम्भकर्ण ने उनको मृतक जाना। उन्होंने कुम्भकर्ण के नाक-कान दाँतों से काट लिए और फिर गरज कर आकाश की ओर चले, तब कुम्भकर्ण ने जाना॥3॥"

"Meanwhile, Sugriv also regained consciousness and slipped out of Kumbhkaran’s grasp, for the giant had loosened his hold, believing Sugriv to be dead. Kumbhkaran realized his escape only when Sugriv bit off the monster’s nose and ears and then soared into the sky with a thunderous roar."
