Hindi Meaning
"उधर राक्षस दिन-रात इस प्रकार घटते जा रहे हैं, जिस प्रकार अपने ही मुख से कहने पर पुण्य घट जाते हैं। रावण बहुत विलाप कर रहा है। बार-बार भाई (कुंभकर्ण) का सिर कलेजे से लगाता है॥2॥"
English Meaning
"The demon troops were dwindling day by day, just as a person’s merit diminishes when he boasts of his own good deeds, and the ten-headed Ravan grieved bitterly, holding his brother’s head and pressing it again and again to his chest."
