Hindi Meaning
"पर्वत, नख और वृक्ष रूपी हथियार धारण किए हुए वानर ‘श्री रामचंद्रजी की जय’ पुकारकर दौड़े। वानर और राक्षस सब जोड़ी से जोड़ी भिड़ गए। इधर और उधर दोनों ओर जय की इच्छा कम न थी (अर्थात् प्रबल थी)॥2॥"
English Meaning
"With mountains, claws, and trees as their weapons, the monkeys rushed forward to meet the demons, shouting, “Victory to Shri Ram!” The armies from both sides clashed, each warrior facing an opponent equal in size and strength. Both sides were equally eager to claim victory in battle."
