Hindi Meaning
"श्री सीताजी की विरह, विवेक, धर्म और नीति से सनी हुई वाणी सुनकर लक्ष्मणजी के नेत्रों में (विषाद के आँसुओं का) जल भर आया। वे हाथ जोड़े खड़े रहे। वे भी प्रभु से कुछ कह नहीं सकते॥2॥"
English Meaning
"Hearing Sita ji’s words, laden with the anguish of separation yet imbued with gentleness, righteousness, and wisdom, Lakshman ji’s eyes filled with tears. He folded his palms in reverence, but no words could come from his lips before the Lord."
