"इसी बीच में निशाचरों की अत्यंत घनी सेना कसमसाती हुई (आपस में टकराती हुई) आई। उसे देखकर वानर योद्धा इस प्रकार (उसके) सामने चले जैसे प्रलयकाल के बादलों के समूह हों॥1॥"
