Hindi Meaning
"भावार्थ : यहाँ वानरगण मन में विचार कर रहे हैं कि अवधि तो बीत गई, पर काम कुछ न हुआ। सब मिलकर आपस में बात करने लगे कि हे भाई! अब तो सीताजी की खबर लिए बिना लौटकर भी क्या करेंगे!॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Meanwhile, standing on the seashore, the monkeys pondered in their hearts, “The time given by Sugriv has run out, and we have still not accomplished our task.” They all gathered and said to one another, “What will be the point of returning now, when we have no news of Sita ji?”"
