"भावार्थ : हे लक्ष्मण! देखो, वर्षा बीत गई और परम सुंदर शरद् ऋतु आ गई। फूले हुए कास से सारी पृथ्वी छा गई। मानो वर्षा ऋतु ने (कास रूपी सफेद बालों के रूप में) अपना बुढ़ापा प्रकट किया है॥1॥"
English Meaning
"…See, Lakshman, the rainy season has ended and the delightful Autumn has arrived. The Earth is carpeted with kaas grass adorned with white blossoms, as though the rainy season has revealed the marks of its old age…"
