श्री नाम वंदना और नाम महिमा – Salutations and glory of the Name

"इस प्रकार नाम (निर्गुण) ब्रह्म और (सगुण) राम दोनों से बड़ा है। यह वरदान देने वालों को भी वर देने वाला है। श्री शिवजी ने अपने हृदय में यह जानकर ही सौ करोड़ राम चरित्र में से इस ‘राम’ नाम को (साररूप से चुनकर) ग्रहण किया है॥25॥"

"Thus, the name “Ram” is greater than both Brahm (the formless) and Lord Ram (the manifested form of the Lord), as it grants blessings even to the giver of boons. Understanding this profound truth in His heart, Lord Shiv chose the sacred name “Ram” for Himself from Shri Ram’s divine story, which comprises one billion verses."
