"…He is born of the salty ocean, and his brother is poison (halahal, the deadly venom that too emerged from the ocean’s churning). By day, he loses his lustre, and even at night, he is blemished with spots. How then can the pitiable pauper Moon ever be compared to the divine beauty of Sita’s face?…"
