Hindi Meaning
"वे श्री रामजी के चरण कमलों को पखारने लगे, प्रेम से उनके शरीर में पुलकावली छा रही है। आकाश और नगर में होने वाली गान, नगाड़े और जय-जयकार की ध्वनि मानो चारों दिशाओं में उमड़ चली, जो चरण कमल कामदेव के शत्रु श्री शिवजी के हृदय रूपी सरोवर में सदा ही विराजते हैं, जिनका एक बार भी स्मरण करने से मन में निर्मलता आ जाती है और कलियुग के सारे पाप भाग जाते हैं,॥1॥"
English Meaning
"Janak ji and Sunaina ji began to wash Shri Ram’s lotus feet, their bodies trembling with overwhelming love and devotion. The sounds of singing, drums, and triumphant cheers echoed across the Heavens and throughout the city, spreading in all directions. These very lotus feet, which eternally dwell in the lake-like heart of Lord Shiv, the vanquisher of Kaamdev, and through whose mere remembrance the heart is sanctified and the impurities of Kaliyug are driven away, were now being lovingly worshipped by the royal couple."
