पृथ्वी और देवतादि की करुण पुकार – The pitiful appeal of mother Earth and other Gods

"तब देवता, मुनि और गंधर्व सब मिलकर ब्रह्माजी के लोक (सत्यलोक) को गए। भय और शोक से अत्यन्त व्याकुल बेचारी पृथ्वी भी गो का शरीर धारण किए हुए उनके साथ थी। ब्रह्माजी सब जान गए। उन्होंने मन में अनुमान किया कि इसमें मेरा कुछ भी वश नहीं चलने का। (तब उन्होंने पृथ्वी से कहा कि-) जिसकी तू दासी है, वही अविनाशी हमारा और तुम्हारा दोनों का सहायक है॥"

"All the Demigods, Sages, and Gandharvas, along with the sorrowful Earth, who had taken the form of a cow, overwhelmed by fear and grief, approached Lord Brahma in Brahmalok. Understanding the gravity of the situation, Lord Brahma realized that he was powerless to resolve it. He then addressed Mother Earth, saying, “The One to whom you belong, the eternal Lord, is both your protector and mine…"
