"जनकजी के सुकृत (पुण्य) की मूर्ति जानकीजी हैं और दशरथजी के सुकृत देह धारण किए हुए श्री रामजी हैं। इन (दोनों राजाओं) के समान किसी ने शिवजी की आराधना नहीं की और न इनके समान किसी ने फल ही पाए॥1॥"
