Hindi Meaning
"हे कृपालु! कहिए, आपने कौन सी प्रतिज्ञा की है? हे प्रभो! आप सत्य के धाम और दीनदयालु हैं। यद्यपि सतीजी ने बहुत प्रकार से पूछा, परन्तु त्रिपुरारि शिवजी ने कुछ न कहा॥4॥"
English Meaning
"…“O’ Kind Lord, please tell me, what vow have You taken? You are the abode of truth and ever gracious to the humble.” Despite Sati ji’s repeated pleas and questions in various ways, Lord Shiv, the destroyer of Tripur (the three cities of the demon brothers), remained silent and said nothing."
