Hindi Meaning
"श्री सीतारामजी के यश को कविकुल के जीवन को पवित्र करने वाला और मंगलों की खान जानकर, इससे मैंने अपनी वाणी को पवित्र करने के लिए कुछ (थोड़ा सा) बखानकर कहा है॥4॥"
English Meaning
"The glory of Shri Ram and Sita ji is the abode of all that is auspicious and serves to purify the entire lineage of poets. Tulsidas ji humbly says that he has described only a small portion of their divine glory to sanctify his own words (for their greatness is boundless, and even a mere glimpse of it has the power to purify anyone)."
